Our club is involved in teaching, learning, experiencing, living and enjoying the activities associated with the Fur Trade.

The purpose of the Paiute Mountain Buckskinners is to foster and demonstrate the lifestyles and activities present on the North American frontier during the Fur Trade Era of 1740-1840. This is to be accomplished by sponsoring period re-enactments featuring shelters, clothing, accouterments, weaponry, skills and knowledge utilized by our forefathers. Also by researching and sharing historical information by way of rocky mountain colleges or demonstrations and to promote and demonstrate camaraderie and fellowship between one another.
